Understory is an exploration of absolute stillness, memory, and depth. Inspired by the quiet majesty of an ancient northern forest perfectly reflected on the glassy surface of a silent lake, this fragrance captures the sacred hush where the tree line meets the water’s edge. It is a deeply meditative, texturized green fragrance that moves beyond traditional wood notes into a complex, resinous world of damp earth, native conifers, and cool, reflective air.

Opening: The fragrance opens like a breath of crisp, early morning air over still water: a clean, uplifting flash of Lemon and bitter Petitgrain, sharpened by the hyper-green, crushed-leaf crunch of Isocyclocitral.
